H-O-T

If you follow my other blog, you'll know that we're experiencing a record breaking heatwave out here in the Pacific Northwest. Right now, at 7:30 am, it is 90 degrees in my office/studio/sewing room.

I just can't sew up here and I don't know when I'll be able to again.
As soon as it cools down I'll be making DJ blocks, I promise, but for now I hope you see this as an opportunity to catch up a little if you're behind.

Stay cool!

  1. Ugh! I don't even want to know how hot my sewing room upstairs is (I suspect about the same as yours). Way too hot for quilting! Good luck staying cool! :)

  2. I know HOT well. I live in the Desert apparently. I never thought of it as such due to all the greenery planted by the those who live here. (part of the water issue I suppose, trying to keep the desert green.)Plus I live right on a lake. Because of the constant heat I am fortunate to have an AC in the studio out back. So I do get to quilt today.

  4. Take it easy, hang in there, don’t forget to breathe!

...Thanks for posting the triangles (which gives me a little more time to work on the blocks...)

And please feel free to take a Summerbreak from That Quilt (which will give me even more time to catch up...)
